  : Proximity to the major tourist attractions, close to metro stop around 10min, safe at night.
  : There is a club just opposite the property and it gets very noisy especially fri and sat night. Make sure you bring ear plugs with you and close the windows in order to get a good sleep.

  : Jorge our host met us at the apartment and gave us great information on the city and lots of great tips as well as the use of a map and guide books. Really helpful. We were right in the middle of Bairro Alto so we were central to everything and walked to most of the sights . It is a noisy, buzzing, narrow street with wall to wall bars and eateries, but we knew this before we booked it and the bedroom is at the back so we were fine with that.
  : No electric kettle but we had a stove top one for boiling water. We had expected a balcony we could sit on but it is just a juliette one. Street is in the shade and lacks privacy anyway so we managed without it.
