  : I think that it is unacceptable to findcockroaches (the so-called "beatles")in the bathroom and in the kitchen during the night in your guesthouse, despite that there were not other similar insects in Lisbon streets. The owner said us that it was a problem in Lisbon and he claimed to have used poison for them after our complaint. We asked to move, but it was told us that it was not possible because of unavaibility of another flat, so we slept with the lights on to avoid the risk of bad encounters during the night (as cockroaches would be looking for a way out after to be poisoned). Moreover: the shower sprayer had not got something to hold on the wall and, once a wall support was placed, the water went out from the shower glass; the toilet moved, cleaning was not the best

  : Clean, lots of stuff in walking distance, very close to gay sauna. Perfect for a short stay (not for families though, lots of stairs)
  : Even though it was clean, they clearly had not vaccumed, since there was still glass splinters on the floor, which cut one of our group. Luckily there was a first aid kit, unfortunately no band aids in it, so we had to make do with bandages.Strange kitchen lay-out, open the oven door first to open the top drawer.

  : The whole apartment itself is fantastic: bed, decoration, tv, house accessories, cleaness, space and the shower is amazing.
  : - Location is on top of Bairro Alto and the apartment is on the 3rd floor and the stairs are too steep and the aisle too thin, it was alright for us, but not recomedable for older people or obese or has some fisical disability or carring heavy bags. - Toilet paper could be a lot better - There is a deposit fee on the value of 100 to be paid when arriving at the property. It wasn't my case but it could cause trouble to someone who has a tight buget for holidays.

  : I stayed in the apartment with 2 friends for a week. The apartment is small but we'll organized and modern, perfect for 3 people. We found it clean, cozy and centric. It's located in the heart of Lisbon, close enough to the main train stations and attractions. There's good nightlife in the parallel streets, so you can enjoy going out without being annoyed by the noise
  : The Management of the apartment is refusing to refund our 100 deposit on the grounds that the shower is clogged. This was clogged upon our arrival and we didn't make a big deal of it. Not only we have not been given an apology/ discount after having to shower in a little lake of tourists' essence, but we are being recharged the maintenance fees of the apartment. Keys collection was an issue too. Upon arrival we were requested to do the check-in in avenida da republica, which is a 50 min walk from the apartment... Asking someone to go get the keys to a far location and go back to the apartment at a determined time (I arrived in Lisbon at 10am and was told I could not take the keys before 15.30) is not ideal. It turned out to be not too much of a hustle for the times we were travelling and the fact that I was able to leave my luggage in a friend's place to go there, but it's not the best holiday start. Other than that, no basic things like dishwasher soap were provided, and while the apartment is cute, accessing it is for experienced climbers/ sailors only.

  : Check-in was somewhere else 15 minutes by car. If you have luggage or kids in tow and no car, it would be a real hassle.
