  : Friendly staff, helpful and almost always available. Very nice, spacious and clean apartment. We loved the rooftop terrace too, since the view from our windows was not so impressive (back yards). On the other side, it was very quiet even during the evenings en nights, even though we were surrounded by bars and restaurants.
  : Guests should realize the apartment building is situated quite high in the city. My 78 y.o. mother's mobility is not so good. Walking the 180 steps from Pz Rossio to the apartment was a bit of a challenge to her. Later, we found out we could reach the apartment by foot a bit easier through the Baixa metro stop. For me personally, the neighborhood was charming with all the steep passages en bars, so it would not have scared me off, but for elderly people it might be different and good to know. As a reward. once you've reached the door, there is an elevator to get to your floor!

  : Location was excellent despite being in the middle of a nightclub area. The sound insulation was great so it was quiet inside the property. The rooftop terrace was a great place to relax with a drink.
  : The floorboards between the two bedrooms were a little creaky, meaning that anyone walking in one bedroom sounded like he/she was in your bedroom. Having to take a lift to the fifth floor, only to walk down two floors was quite difficult with suitcases.

  : This was an attic apartment with 4 flights of stairs, the last of which were steep with no handrails.

  : Staff very helpful - we needed assistance with getting our bags up and down to the apartment. The breakfasts were almost too much, though a little and of better quality would be a good idea.
  : The lighting was insufficient for reading.This is a piece of advice - the mattresses need to be turned regularly. In both our rooms, the side closest to the door was obviously a lot more used - it actually was sagging and sloped, whereas the other side was perfectly firm.

  : Great location - perfect for exploring the city. Romes a good size in the property. Even though the Bairro Alto can be noisy the property has additional double glazing so you do not hear the sounds outside

  : The apartment is spacious, clean and had lovely views. The bed was comfortable and the staff were very friendly (special shout out to Raquel). Lots of storage space and daily breakfast. Great location, there are noisy bars on the street, but I found that with the windows closed you couldnt really hear it (and Im a very light sleeper). Nice rooftop with great views too!
  : A couple of minor things, firstly there is an intermittent smell in the bathroom. Not sure what causes it but wasnt too strong and wasnt all the time. The other thing is that the floors are very creaky, which meant I could hear everything in the apartment above mine. Not the fault of the staff, but I had an upstairs neighbour that seemingly didnt sleep and was very heavy footed so earplugs were essential!

  : Very comfortable and quiet ground floor apartment with courtyard views and access. Lovely rooftop bar area great for sunset rooftop views. Staff were extremely helpful at every point of our stay, and breakfast provisions were excellent - enough for lunch snacks too!
  : No laundry available - for some this would be a negative but on our last few days away, we could manage without it. A retractable line over the bath would solve the problem of drying out a few pieces of underwear though!
